There are lots of free date ideas that don’t involve your couch. Take me to a museum, go for a walk in the park, meet in the historical district & look at the architecture— anything but ‘netflix & chill’ with some dude I’ve never met & have no idea if I even like yet.
First dates are for getting to know you. A public environment that’s not too loud is ideal. If you’re insisting that I come to your home instead of just meeting at Starbucks or something, it makes me think you have something else in mind. Not today buddy. No thank you.
